Joi Alesna - Artist. Enjoys colorful and illustrative black & grey work

Hello peeps, my name is Joi. I'm a new worker bee at Hive Tattoo in Farmington, Michigan.

I've been passionate about drawing since I could hold a crayon! Excitingly doodling on any surface I could reach: papers, tables, floors, walls and eventually people!

I briefly attended College for Creative Studies and continued to experiment with different media. One of my favorites being acrylic paints. My inspirations stem from anime, manga, cartoons, & videogames. My art has been described as quirky, colorful, spoopy, & playfully illustrative. 

Tattooing is an endearing career. We all have memories, moments and people we don't wish to forget. I feel honored to use my talents to help bring people's stories to life.
